Configuring your VPN connection manually

If your VPN connection cannot be configured automatically, ZoneAlarm security software displays a Manual Action Required alert informing you of the manual changes you need to make to configure your connection.

Refer to the following sections for manual configuration instructions:

Adding a VPN gateway and other resources to the Trusted Zone

Removing a VPN gateway from a blocked range or subnet

Allowing VPN protocols

Granting access permission to VPN software

If you have created an expert firewall rule that has blocked PPTP traffic and your VPN software uses PPTP, you will need to modify the expert rule. See Creating expert firewall rules .
